Our Formulation Process
Think of it like a code review, but for chemistry. Every ingredient goes through a rigorous evaluation before it earns a spot in a Vellum Labs product.
Literature Review
We start with published, peer-reviewed research. If an ingredient doesn't have robust human clinical data supporting its mechanism and efficacy, it doesn't make the cut.
Dosage Calibration
We match or exceed the dosages used in successful clinical trials. Most supplement brands use "label decoration" amounts — just enough to list it, not enough to do anything. We don't.
Bioavailability Optimization
An ingredient is only as good as your body's ability to absorb it. We select chelated minerals, standardized extracts, and bioavailable forms to maximize uptake — not just potency on paper.
